C. Measures for integrating environmental considerations and achieving policy objectives

In the case of the tea sector, the various measures that are being implemented to integrate environmental considerations into the policy decision-making process need to be periodically assessed with a view to determining their effectiveness. Incentives should be provided where appropriate in order to ensure that the objectives are achieved. Such incentives may be designed to supplement the assistance provided under the ADB Plantation Sector Reform Project.
