2. Query response services
A total of 3,130 queries concerning environmental information were received in 1995, an increase of 7 per cent over 1994. Queries from the Department of Environment library users remained the highest, followed by requests through letters and via the INFOTERRA network. Requests for information were received from various target groups. Enquiries via letter were mainly received from students and individuals abroad, followed by those living outside the Klang Valley area.
