C. Size of industries, their activities and development
The majority of the industrial establishments in Kuala Lumpur are SMIs, each employing less than 50 workers (City Hall of Kuala Lumpur, 1984). The most prominent industrial activities are construction or development projects for either commercial buildings such as office buildings and shopping malls, or highways, recreational facilities and other infrastructure.
