It is expected that participants would include
Ministers/Heads of Delegation accompanied by two aides.
Attendance by UN agencies, IGOs and NGOs will be limited
to one representative only. Media representatives
are welcome to attend. Special meeting badges for
the Ministerial Round Table will be issued to delegations.
All delegations are encouraged to engage in lively
interactive discussion. Any formal statements may
please be confined to 5 minutes per delegation. Simultaneous
interpretation will be provided.

Part II of the Ministerial Round Table will be a closed
informal meeting. Attendance will be restricted to member
and associate members only to enable ministers/heads
of delegation to freely share their experiences and
exchange views on the MDGs issue. |

| Summary of discussions |
| A short summary of the Ministerial Round
Table will be annexed to the annual report of Phase
II of the fifty-ninth session. Free and frank exchange
of ideas is encouraged, as no reference to country delegations
in the text of the Summary will be made. |
