The Commission is invited to consider the guidelines as contained in document E/ESCAP/1174, with a view to endorsing them. Page 9, first paragraph, agenda item 7(c) For the existing text substitute In pursuance of Commission resolution 54/5, the report contains a brief review on the observance of the Year and the progress in the implementation of the Macao Plan of Action on Ageing for Asia and the Pacific at the national and regional levels. It also presents recommendations on further action and initiatives to achieve the goals and targets contained in the Macao Plan of Action.
