Report of the Special Body on Pacific Island Developing Countries on its sixth session (E/ESCAP/1184)

Document E/ESCAP/1184 will contain the report of the Special Body on Pacific Island Developing Countries on its sixth session. The session will be held in Bangkok on 30 and 31 May 2000. The Special Body will consider (a) transport issues, and (b) children's welfare issues in the Pacific island countries. A report on the Commission's activities in the Pacific island developing countries will be made available to the Special Body. The Commission may wish to endorse the recommendations contained in the report of the Special Body.

An oral report will be made on the ongoing activities for least developed and landlocked developing countries.
